Paste your class list into the Names box, one name per line, straight from a spreadsheet or your roster. Each student gets a full page of their own name, and Print sends them all as one file: 25 students, 25 pages, one click. Pick the letter style and size once and every page follows it. The address bar keeps the list and settings, so bookmark it to print fresh copies next month.
One name, or your class list with one name per line, up to 40. Use a capital first letter and lowercase for the rest, the way children learn to write it.
Print or cursive; dotted, outline or faded letters; 3-line or 4-line paper; and a letter size from XL for little hands to XS for older students.
Print or save as PDF on Letter or A4, or download a Word file, with every name on its own page. Each row of tracing can have a blank row under it to write the name alone.
Start with the first name only, in the largest size and faded letters, so the shapes are easy to follow. Once the child traces it with ease, switch to dotted letters, then a smaller size, and let them write the name on the blank row without help. Keep the capital at the start and the rest lowercase: an all-capitals name is easier at first, but it's a habit kindergarten teachers then have to undo. Most children write their first name between ages 4 and 5; the last name usually follows in kindergarten.
Each letter sits on the baseline and reaches the dashed midline, the way K–2 students learn to form letters. The tracing is drawn from the font's outlines, so it stays crisp on any printer.
