Veterans Day Word Search Worksheets
Veterans Day on November 11 is a chance to talk with students about the people who served in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard. These word searches pair that conversation with a quiet activity, using words like veteran, salute, honor, medal, flag and freedom.
Hand one out before a school assembly, after a guest speaker, or alongside thank-you cards for local veterans. The easy puzzle uses short words on a small across-and-down grid for kindergarten and first grade. The medium puzzle adds diagonal words for second and third graders, and the hard puzzle hides words in every direction for fourth and fifth graders. Each PDF ends with its answer key.
